Medical Professionals
New Hope Center’s medical services are under the supervision of our Medical Director, Dr. John E. White, MD.
New Hope Center’s nurse sonographers are R.N.s with extensive experience in nursing. They also have intensive training in limited obstetrical sonography and participate in ongoing training. Our nurse sonographers have significant experience in first- and second-trimester limited fetal sonography and in working with clients in this type of setting.
Ultrasounds
Ultrasounds are performed onsite at both the Crestview Hills and Falmouth locations. The Covington location will begin offering ultrasounds in early 2022.
After a lab-quality pregnancy test is positive, our medical staff can provide a limited obstetrical ultrasound, free of charge. The ultrasound will:
- Confirm you are pregnant
- Estimate how far along you are (gestational age)
- Confirm your pregnancy is progressing
- Detect a heart beat
- Allow you to see the baby
Ultrasounds Provide Important Information. Whichever pregnancy option you choose, this information is an essential first step to your decision-making process. If you are considering an abortion, knowing how far along you are is necessary in determining the type of abortion procedure and the costs involved. If you are considering parenting or adoption, this will help you plan for your future. We are happy to provide these services at no cost to you.

**Recognized as the earliest reasonable time to identify the baby's gender through a sonogram. This is dependent on the positioning of the baby and the view of the ultrasound.
